To complete this project, carefully follow each of the steps listed below:
1.) First, Miss Lemoncelli will assign each of you a partner. There will be 11 partnerships. Click on the Partnerships document to see who you have been paired with.
2.) Once you have been given your partner, meet with him or her and decide for which Revolutionary War hero you would like to create a Facebook page. *Check the Links portion of this Webquest for sites where you can find heroes to choose from.*
3.) Once you have chosen a hero, sign your hero up so that no other partnership does the same person. To do this, click on the Sign Up link on the left hand navigation bar, click Edit Page in the upper right hand corner, type your and your partner's names and the hero you choose, and then click Save on the toolbar at the top of the page.
4.) Using the websites given on the Links page, as well as websites you've found on your own, research as much information as you can to become an expert on your hero. Each partner must fill in the following graphic organizer to ensure you are finding important information about them. *Note: Each member's graphic organizer will look similar because you will be conducting the research together. -
*Check the Links portion of this Webquest to find information about each hero.* *Be careful that all sites you are using contain VALID and RELIABLE information!*
5.) After every member has researched and filled in a graphic organizer, you are now ready to design your hero's Facebook page. Click on this document and print it.
6.) After printing the Facebook page template, work with your partner, using your graphic organizers from above, to fill in the Facebook page for your hero. *Remember to: - Include other important figures during the Revolutionary War that your hero may have had contact with. - Important events that this person was a part of (This can be included in their "Updated Statuses" portion.) - A photo of this person. - Look back at the rubric in the Evaluation section of the Webquest to ensure you are meeting all requirements.

Don't forget to periodically save the document as you fill it in. *As you complete this step, be creative! Don't forget that your hero does not speak the same as you, but was still a real person!
9.) When you are finished filling in the template, do a final save. Click the Conclusion link on the left hand navigation bar. Upload your Facebook document under the area that says "Final Products".
